Characteristics: Evergreen perennial.
Hardiness: H1B - will not tolerate low temperatures below 10-15℃. Is best suited as an indoor plant here in the UK.
Position: Partial shade, south or west facing.
Soil Type: Will be happy planted in any good potting soil.
Watering: Keep moist in well drained soil. Will droop it's leaves readily if soil dries out.
Pests & Diseases: Not susceptible to disease but can attract small pest insects. Use a neem oil spray (home made) - see our article here on how to make your own: Using neem oil safely as a natural pest spray.
Top Tip: These plants can sometimes get quite leggy. You can safely cut your plant down to the base of the stems and it will grow back happily. Pinch off growth above flowering nodes to encourage bushing growth.
